Trend Micro brings its AI platform Trend Vision One to the AWS European Sovereign Cloud for maximum security and digital sovereignty.

This implementation builds on the long-standing collaboration between the companies and Trend Micro's leading position in cybersecurity. By making Trend Vision One available for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, it addresses the unique security needs of government agencies, defense, critical infrastructure providers, and organizations in other highly regulated sectors. The platform meets European requirements for digital sovereignty while retaining all capabilities of Trend Micro's AI-driven cybersecurity platform.

Combined strength for security and sovereignty

The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is a fully functional, independently managed sovereign cloud. It is designed to meet the sovereignty needs of European governments and organizations. The infrastructure of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud is entirely located within the EU and operates independently of other existing AWS regions. Customers using the AWS European Sovereign Cloud benefit from the full power of AWS, including the same service portfolio, security, availability, performance, trusted architecture, APIs, and innovations such as the AWS Nitro System.

Trend Vision One takes full advantage of the AWS European Sovereign Cloud's capacity for uniform management of cyber risks, security, and layered protection, while simultaneously meeting stringent sovereignty and compliance requirements. The implementation supports all cybersecurity capabilities of Trend Micro, including Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Agentic Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (Agentic SOAR), and threat intelligence correlation.

'Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Organizations therefore need comprehensive cybersecurity coverage. At the same time, many organizations - particularly in highly regulated sectors - struggle with business pressure and strict sovereignty requirements,' said Marc Schiener, Technical Director Europe at Trend Micro. 'By implementing Trend Vision One on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, customers gain access to our AI-driven, proactive cybersecurity capabilities. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Amazon Web Services, they also meet the applicable digital sovereignty requirements.'

AWS and Trend have been collaborating for over ten years. This partnership builds on that shared history of innovation to support customers with their digital sovereignty and cybersecurity requirements and to accelerate their digital transformation in Europe.
