Omnipage Professional 17

Version 17 works much more accurately and is faster than its predecessor, draws from more sources than before, and offers improved support for 'scans' made with a mobile phone. OmniPage Professional, partly due to the price tag of 399 euros, is particularly aimed at organizations where it is common for documents to need to be scanned and then converted into editable and searchable files.

No matter which document we presented to OmniPage, the recognition of text was particularly good. We were done in just a few clicks per page, and then the text was available digitally. With Omnipage 17, you can define different workflows. In this, you determine how files should be loaded; how the formatting should be recognized and how the final output should look. It is handy to convert to the format for Kindle readers.
