Why IT basic knowledge is becoming increasingly important
Digitalization is accelerating at a high pace. Terms like information systems, networks, cloud, middleware, and VoIP are not only found in IT departments but also in management meetings, projects, and strategic decision-making. Those who cannot place these terms well risk becoming dependent on others or missing crucial nuances.
The IT for Non-IT Professionals training, developed by business partner Computrain, focuses precisely on this tension. Participants learn enough IT knowledge to engage in discussions without the ambition to become IT specialists. After completion, they are better able to understand IT memos and reports and function as equal conversation partners for IT colleagues.
What does the IT training concretely deliver?
The two-day course focuses on insight and applicability. After completion, you will have:
- A clear overview of essential IT concepts and processes
- Insight into the structure of IT activities within organizations
- More control over IT reports and technical documentation
- Better understanding of current IT developments and their impact
- Skills to process IT information faster and more effectively
This training is suitable for professionals without a technical background who regularly deal with IT.
Practical approach without theoretical overload
The strength of the IT for Non-IT Professionals training lies in its practical orientation. Experienced trainers make complex IT topics understandable without oversimplifying them. The training is conducted in small groups of up to twelve participants, allowing for interaction and personal questions.
Practical situations from the participants' own work environment play an important role. Additionally, participants use an interactive online learning environment, where personal learning goals are central.

Who is IT for Non-IT Professionals intended for?
The training is intended for professionals who want to quickly and practically strengthen their IT knowledge. Particularly roles at the intersection of business and technology benefit from this training, where IT understanding is a prerequisite for effective collaboration and decision-making.
Investing two days thus provides a solid IT foundation that is directly applicable in daily practice.
