This is evident from the quarterly report of Fitbit. The acquisition was completed at the end of last year. Sources from The Financial Times initially spoke of 'several tens of millions of dollars.' The actual amount turns out to be lower than expected.

Quarterly figures

Fitbit also paid fifteen million dollars for Vector Watch. The last quarter of 2016 saw 6.5 million fitness trackers sold, down from 8.2 million units sold a year ago.

Revenue fell from 711.6 million dollars to 573.8 million dollars. The quarter therefore ended with a loss of over 146 million dollars, while a year earlier there was a profit of over 64 million dollars.
